CC6 2025/26 #4 – Holmsley Campsite

The last race of the year was deep in the New Forest, almost into the neighbouring county of Dorset. The weather was splendid – sunny, cool and a brisk breeze. A few days of no rain had left the course manageable, although there was plenty of standing water to either a) run through (the correctContinue reading “CC6 2025/26 #4 – Holmsley Campsite”

RR10 2025 #10 – IBM Hursley

The final RR10 of 2025 was, as usual, at IBM Hursley. A party atmosphere was present with some other teams having slabs of beer (noted for next year) for post race celebrations. Even better was a great turnout fromContinue reading “RR10 2025 #1 – Fleming Park”

CC6 race 5, Itchen Valley Country Park 24/25

Race 4 of this year’s had fallen foul of December’s storm Darragh, was cancelled and so we moved on to the first of two races at Itchen Valley. I felt slightly disorganised leading up to the race, we had a number of absentees through injury, illness and other events taking place on the same day.Continue reading “CC6 race 5, Itchen Valley Country Park 24/25”

Clarendon Marathon 2024 Relay

One of the club’s goals for 2023/24 was to enter a team in a relay, something the club did, historically, on a regular basis. With our numbers we felt that the South Downs relay was a little ambitious so we decided to start locally with the Clarendon Marathon. The Clarendon has been going for 26Continue reading “Clarendon Marathon 2024 Relay”
