Welcome!

Wessex Road Runners is a small and friendly running club that genuinely welcome runners of all levels.

Every Monday we meet in Winchester (usually near a pub!) for a sociable 4-6 mile run at a pace of around 10 minutes per mile. If that sounds a bit too fast, please don’t be put off. We are happy to run slower. Afterwards, we tend to stick around for a recovery pint and chat.

Joining our club also allows you to take part in the competitive CC6 and RR10 race series organised by and for the South Hampshire running clubs (including Wessex). These are optional, but if you enjoy running competitively these are great, free of charge events.

The club is a great place to meet and run safely with others, improve your general running fitness or to prepare with others for your own events and running ambitions.

Will was close on Andrew’s heels although constrained by exam commitments in a way that…
