We managed to field a team … just!
This fixture was pretty much the same out-and-back route as last year. A longish walk down a slippery hill to the start. Cruel, because we knew we would have to go up it in the final 500m run to the finish!
It was a relatively small field of 273 runners and the team finished in 15th position (out of 18) – so we were not last!
Jay was first WRR home in 38th place (impressive!), Mike was 75th, Andrew S (not far behind) was 85th. I brought up the rear (150th) – but pleased I turned out. Plentiful cakes!
