Race 2 saw Wessex achieve a team result at one of the more enjoyable routes in the series. Lots of fairly benign undulating tracks which criss crossed over bridges and railway lines, in a race starting a road across from Roundhill campsite close to Brockenhurst.
Some chunky puddles and muddy sections added some of the brown stuff to everyone’s vests and legs, unless you wimped out and ran around. Warm enough to not need any base layers but I’m sure that will be a requirement soon.
Results in order of Jay (30), Phil (70), Mike (125) and David (278), well done all. Next race is at Ocknell again in the Forest November 10th!
