Not a CC6 we competed in but Wessex (along with Lordshill and Chandlers Ford) were tasked with organising Race #3 of the series and were delegated car parking duties. Richard had already been on site to facilitate delivery of the portaloos (they proved very popular on the day) earlier in the week.
Seven Wessex runners (myself, Richard, David H, Tim, Kevin, Derek and Mike) donned some Hi Vis and guided runners to the relevant car park. Unlike last year it was pretty mild , dry but it looked very wet under foot for those running. All went smoothly, with runners sent in the correct direction to the start. Richard and David H completed the day’s work, locking up the site just after 11:30.
Race #4 is back to the New Forest on the 14th of January.
